A small prize for the first person to explain the title to this post.
Not many members at the club today (2nd June) but not a bad days flying at all on balance. A nasty north east wind direction and horrid landings as a result but well done everyone for getting a full day in. We also had the pleasure of seeing a few aircraft at the Folkstone show and certainly hearing a few. The forecast doesn’t look good for the rest of the bank hol sadly. Plan is I am on duty next Saturday and there is talk of a big flying day and bar B Q at the end of the June. No doubt Simon will keep us all posted.
Good to fly with my son Bradley for the first time in about 9 months today. He went solo on his 16th a couple of years ago and has flown little since. A game of pool after flying too. Think he enjoyed a day at WDP so thanks to everyone for making this happen.
The Olympics “problems” gets closer so come and fill yer boots before then folks.
Colin.

And interestingly a recent documentary I watched showed that the method used back then for determining what was number one (a sample of record shops did submitted their weekly sales) was basically fiddled that week so that John and the boys would not have to appear on top of the pops. A wasted effort as during the next year punk took over and they all appeared on totp and other programs, I lied about the prize.
