Various club members on holiday etc so a bit thin on the ground and a blustery not too promising a day presented itself. Overall though, I reckon it turned out pretty dam good! Eight trial lessons completed, most with good soaring flights thanks to Paul’s skills. Maurice managed over half an hour in the K6 and Potter (ZZzzzzzzzzz) did an hour or so in his K8. I did a flight or 2 with Terry and concluded that after 14 years of intensive training the moment had come. And boy did he embrace it performing the best winch launch we had ever seen him manage, followed by the best approach and landing we had ever seen from him. The boy done good ! Seriously, well done Terry, photo of the happy pilot below along with congratulations from Simon, CGC chairman & winch driver extraordinaire.
