The day was a little awkward to begin with. The wind although light really was not cooperating in terms of direction and we kept wondering if a change of launch point would help. But we persevered and matters improved. A couple of flights with Geoff (Jeff ?) and then his first solo. A great achievement. Paul did loads of trial flights and we did some work towards the 2 Steve’s achieving their basic instructor ratings. Terry made his second ever solo, great landing, and we welcomed a new member (we hope). Gregg and Ben worked admirably to keep the field running smoothly throughout the day. Some bloke kept the winch going too.  We parked the aircraft after some 28 flights, not at all bad for late September. Some photo’s below of the day I hope.

happy band of pilots CGC solo pilot paul and student pilot landing
